Daily 10 - August 30

#10 - Kenley Jansen's season may be done due to his 2nd heart issue in consecutive years.  Ronald Belasario got the call Wednesday night and given his performance this season he should be the play.  However, do not under estimate the un-interesting veteran with experience, Brandon League.  Despite his lackluster numbers.

#9 - I made a mistake in making my waiver priority this past weekend in my FAAB, I intended to have Chris Nelson 1st and Jeff Keppinger 2nd.  Well, I didn't double check and got Keppinger, apparently.  Yes, Keppinger is batting .500 on the week but has 0 counting stats.  Meanwhile, Nelson is 6/13 with 4 R and 2 RBI.  He also draws the Padres at home this weekend.  Oof.

#8 - Hey, welcome back Bryce Harper!  It's been a rough go since the All Star break as his triple slash had plummeted from .282/.354/.472 to .248/.319/.410.  Hopefully the two home run game Wednesday night will be a correction and not a blip in the second half swoon.  Just don't turn on ESPN.

#7 - Pedro Alvarez just keeps mashing.  Wrote about him yesterday and followed it up with another big night, clubbing his 26th home run and driving in 3.

#6 - 3 home runs in 3 days for Evan Longoria, a strong finish to the season and he'll be a popular early round pick again in 2013.

#5 - Jeff Samardzjia sure has been a frustrating pitcher to own all season, but his overall line of 4.09 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 153 K in 158 2/3 IP is better than many earlier picks.  He's been on a roll since a poor outing in Los Angeles at the beginning of the month, 33 IP in 5 G with 39 K 7 BB and a 3.00 ERA.

#4 - Chris Heisey sure has had a disappointing season, but he clubbed a couple of home runs Wednesday and has had his batting average slowly climb since the All Star break.  Monitor, there could be some late season goodness here.  He did hit 18 home runs in just 279 AB's last season.

#3 - This weekend, stream your Padres!  A weekend at Coors should do well for CHase Headley (likely not available), Will Venable (righties only), Cameron Maybin (has had a decent second half), Yonder Alonso, Yasmani Grandal, and Everth Cabrera.  Have at all of them!

#2 - Anibal Sanchez finally had a decent outing, even though it did not register in the K or W department.  He draws the Indians next though, so if he was dumped pick him back up.

#1 - Speaking of the Indians, Jarrod Parker draws the assignment today.  This team is the worst team in the AL right now, pick on them until they give you a reason not to.
