Daily 10 - July 12

#10 - Need a bat for Saturday?  Try Seth Smtih.  The Twins haven't announced a starter, but odds are it will be a right hander (who Smith murders) and the Twins have some of the worst pitching in the majors.

#9 - What about Friday?  Well, John Mayberry owns southpaws(.258/.264/.506 this year, .284/.314/.568 career) and draws left handed rookie Christian Friedrich.  He also draws a left Sunday in Drew Pomeranz.  Fire away!

#8 - There is a whole lot of streaming possibilities in Dodger Land this weekend.  With the Padres in town, take advantage.  Clayton Richard, Chad Billingsley, Edinson Volquez, have at all of them!

#7 - Hope you got something out of Dillon Gee because he may be done for the year with a shoulder injury that sounds eerily similar to the one that ruined Jeremy Bonderman's career, go ahead and drop him.

#6 - Feel lucky?  Try Derek Holland.  Yeah, he got torched by the Mariners last time out but that was in Arlington.  The Seattle offense goes to sleep at home and Safeco is where left handed power goes to die.

#5 - Don't expect much offense in Friday's Pittsburgh/Milwaukee game.  Zach Greinke has a 1.89 ERA at home and James McDonald has only given up more than 1 ER three times in his last nine games.

#4 - Tune into the Detroit/Baltimore game Saturday.  With the Orioles and their whiff heavy bats Max Scherzer may be looking at a K-heavy gem.  His struggles vs. lefties will be put to the test though with Nick Markakis, Matt Wieters, Jim Thome, Wilson Betemit, and Chris Davis on tap.

#3 - If Scherzer lets you down, Verlander will be there Sunday to clean up.  No, don't be alarmed with his All Star game performance.

#2 - Ben Sheets makes his return to the mound Sunday.  No, don't start him, in fact I wouldn't even pick him up.  However, it is certainly a start to monitor as the talent pool on waivers dries up.

#1 - Last chance to get Cliff Lee!  He has Colorado Friday night and after he mows them down the buy low window will be closed.
