No. 10-Chipper Jones took the news of his All Star selection well going 5-for-5 while driving in four runs.  The veteran switch hitter, who is on his farewell tour, has been a fantasy contributor for many years and it will be sad to see him hang up the cleats at the end of the season.

No. 9-Kevin Youkilis hit his first home run as a member of the White Sox in a trouncing of the Rangers.  Youk collected three hits on the night driving in four runs and scoring three times and still has some value as a part time player as long as he gets regular time in Chicago.

No. 8-I warned of a regression for Roy Oswalt earlier in the week, but even I didn’t see the pounding the White Sox hung on him coming.  Oswalt was torched for 13 hits and nine earned runs in being saddled with his first loss of the year.

No. 7-Dan Haren had historically pitched well in Cleveland.  Tuesday was a reversal of that fortune as Haren was hit hard in his fourth consecutive outing.  Haren owners will have their fingers crossed that he can get back on track soon.

No. 6-Alex Rios has quietly put together a very strong first half.  Rios is hitting over .300 with double digit steals and home runs.  He is also on pace to drive in and score over eighty times, making him a top ten outfielder in most formats.

No. 5-James Shields clearly found motivation in my proclamation that the Yankees owned him as he went out Tuesday and earned the win.  Shields was not very impressive, but he did scatter ten hits, striking out one while allowing four earned runs doing just enough to register the win.

No. 4-Tyler Colvin deserves a look in many leagues as he continues to produce for the Rockies.  Colvin hit a three run home run for his tenth long ball of the season to go along with his .305 batting average.

No. 3-Cliff Lee will look to make Wednesday his Independence Day from the winless column as he takes the mound against the Mets.  It is impossible to believe any pitcher as talented as Lee is this deep in to the season without a single win.

No. 2-It’s not time to add Adam Lind yet, but you do need to have him on your radar.  Lind has hit better since returning from the minors.  He hit his third home run since being recalled and he could rebound to contribute to your team in the second half.

No. 1-Yadier Molina has been a terrific pick for owners this season, building on his 2011 season.  Molina has nearly matched his home run total from last season and he has even swiped eight bags already.  Molina has an outside chance of a rare 20-20 season from your catcher spot.
