Daily 10: June 28

#10 - Every year it seems the magic super 2 date gets pushed back later and later.  This week's flood of minor league talent shows that, Trevor Bauer is today's soup d'jour and is worth the add if he's still available.

#9 - Dallas Keuchel is an interesting pre All Star break pickup.  Today he gets the hapless Padres and next week he draws the Pirates, who cannot hit left handers.

#8 - I'm not ready to buy into Travis Wood just yet, I think he's still a year out, but he's been effective recently and draws the Astros Sunday.  Roll the dice!

#7 - Wilton Lopez will not return until mid July, at the earliest.  The later his return date gets pushed back, the more likely it is Brandon Lyon gets first crack at the closer gig when Brett Myers is inevitably traded.  If you have an extra roster spot, speculate on him now.

#6 - Yes, I saw that Mike Trout catch too.  I've petitioned my commish to give me some bonus points for the play and I urge you to do the same.

#5 - Hey, Bruce Bochy, look what happens when you give Brandon Belt full time AB's and stop jerking him around!  He's hitting .349 with an 1.008 OPS over the last 15 days and yet somehow he's still on,y 60% owned in ESPN leagues.  Pick him up!

#4 - I wish I had an explanation for Jemile Weeks.  He walks more than he strikes out, but is still a brutal .663 OPS over the last month and even worse, only one steal!  Barring a strong weekend in Texas, he's being dumped to waivers.

#3 - In an offense that looks completely lost right now, Ben Zobrist has finally heated up.  Maybe he'll start seeing more pitches to hit if his teammates start picking up the slack.  A 1.051 OPS over the last 2 weeks is impressive considering how much he's being pitched around.

#2 - With Grant Balfour almost certainly going to be traded, get Sean Doolittle on your radar.  He has 17 K's in 8 2/3 IP's and is due for a ratio correction, while Ryan Cook is dominating at times his wildness may spell doom so an opportunity may arise.  Enjoy the K's in the meantime.

#1 - It's nice having a near full slate of baseball on a Thursday, especially with so many questionable arms rolling out there today.  Enjoy your offense!
