No. 10 - Clay Buchholz turned in his fourth consecutive quality start on Tuesday in a 2-1 win over the Miami Marlins. The Boston Red Sox rotation is unsettled, but the recent success of Buchholz is a welcome occurrence for Red Sox fans and fantasy owners alike.

No. 9 - The Philadelphia Phillies’ offensive woes have taken their toll on the normally steady Jimmy Rollins. Rollins has struggled on the season, but did go 4-for-4 and drove in two runs on Tuesday. Few players will welcome the return of Chase Utley and Ryan Howard like Rollins will.

No. 8 - Teams and fans often fear that once a player signs a lucrative contract that they will become complacent and their production will suffer. Someone forgot to tell Adam Jones. Jones has been on a tear this season and was at it again, collecting four hits, including his 18th home run of the season, on Tuesday.

No. 7 - I promised a good night for Adam Dunn and he delivered. I know he only had one hit, but that hit was a home run, and besides, even with only a 1-for-4 performance, the .250 average is better than the base line Dunn usually delivers.

No. 6 - Colby Lewis evened his record at 5-5 on the season with a complete game four-hitter over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Lewis’ earned run average and walks plus hits per inning pitched are much better than his record suggests. You may be able to pry him away from his owner for a lower price than a pitcher of his caliber would normally demand.

No. 5 - I know the Chicago Cubs’ Tony Campana is only a part-time player, but if you are an owner who was depending on Brett Gardner to provide you with steals, you should consider Campana to boost your team. Campana swiped three more bases Tuesday night. Beware of the platoon situation and make adjustments as you need to.

No. 4 - Rafael Soriano sat out Monday with a blister after blowing his first save of the season on Sunday. With David Robertson set to return to the Yankees bullpen soon, the circumstances appear like a battle is on tap for the closer role. I don’t see it that way, though. Soriano has a solid track record and rebounded with a save on Tuesday and he should maintain the role as long as he is healthy.

No. 3 - Kevin Youkilis is dangerously flirting with being droppable in most formats with his recent cold streak. Youkilis suffered through his fifth straight hitless game on Tuesday. Don’t get caught holding on to a name. Fantasy leagues don’t award points for last year’s stats.

No. 2 - Michael Bourn has exceeded expectations in the early part of the season and is on a roll right now. Bourn only had one hit Tuesday, but that hat ran his hitting streak to 12 straight games for the speedy centerfielder.

No. 1 - Michael Bourn isn’t the only outfielder riding a long hitting streak. The Cleveland Indians’ Michael Brantley ran his hitting streak to 19 games with a hit on Tuesday. Brantley is playing every day right now and can contribute to your team in most formats.
