SP Andy Pettitte, New York Yankees

Pettitte has come out of retirement for the New York Yankees and come out in a big way. After a shaky first start, he has really thrived. In his last two starts Pettitte is 2-0, allowing just one earned run and having 17 strikeouts in 15 innings. He’s definitely worth a pick up right now.

OF Dayan Viciedo, Chicago White Sox

Viciedo is an interesting case. He’s hitting just .243, but he does have eight home runs on the season. He has come on strong recently, hitting five of those home runs in his last 10 games. If you need some power in your lineup, give him a shot.

SP Ryan Vogelsong, San Francisco

Another pitcher that has come out of absolutely no where, Vogelsong is working on a stretch of five straight quality starts and seven out of eight for the season. He doesn’t get a ton of strikeouts and does walk batters, but he does a great job of stranding runners. He’s available in half of fantasy leagues just be wary that wins have been hard to come by.

C Jonathan Lucroy, Milwaukee

Lucroy is one of the hottest hitters in the majors right now and has been an RBI machine in May. Sporting a .349 average with 29 RBI, he’s a Top 3 catcher right now in fantasy. He’s been doing this all month and is still available in 30 percent of fantasy leagues. What are you waiting for?
